A few have asked how I made this. Step + step.

1. Photo of rose +grid.
2. Paint on textured paper. Acrylics.
3. Inks and glazing.
4. Photos of tag
5. Scan of painting.
6. Dgitially painted areas again, matching the texture.
7. Cropped and place on photo of tag.
8. Used scans of paper to match texture.



This is traditional art + photography + digital art. I have blurred the boundries of these factions of art. In essence there shouldnt be factions at all, all art is mix media. Thanks

There are few artists on DA who manage to create a sense of style for themselves that I've never come across before. one by ~Zoomrhy is stylish, part of a lovely gallery of similiar digital and traditional work, is simple, small and shows beautiful colour transitions and movement. It's a beautifull rose... I love the way the black lines draw the shapes, and the warm colours in the center and colder in the boundaries... It seems like it's dying...

I love it! Blurring out the pic to smooth the lines and then adding lines over it to divide the shapes.nice. I love this type of look. Faving it :blahblah: :giggle:

the process was a paint with a grid and photo then scanned it and painted over it, and then smoothed it. I mean if you were intrested.
